This much loved vintage 1940's Chiltern Hugmee Teddy Bear has such a pretty face, we named her 'Dora'. She is presented in a light antique gold shade of longer mohair has her original paws and feet which are made from velvet and all foot claws are intact. Dora is an articulated 5 way jointed Bear and all joints work well. She is up for adoption and looking for her forever home. Height standing: 38cms / 15 inches (foot to tip of ear)
CONDITION: As an old bear of around 80+ years old she's had some moth damage over the years which has resulted in some fur loss (see all photos for details) We quarantined her and treated her when she was rescued, just to ensure there are no hidden critters lurking and protect her from further potential damage, so we can guarantee she is moth/larvae/egg free. She's had a gentle surface clean so that her remaining fluffy fur is refreshed free from any bad smells or odours and shimmers in the light. Her amber glass eyes, nose and mouth are all original.

MOTH PROTECTION: This Teddy is made from mohair which moths love to eat. We will give you a FREE natural Lavender moth protection sachet to sit with Teddy, which will last for around 3 months. It has an indicator on it to let you know when it is ending.
